Refund policy

Seven days, the full amount, no questions. This page mostly exists to say what happens in the awkward cases.

Last checked 7 September 2026. Draft, not yet reviewed by a lawyer.

Unreviewed draft. This document has been written in plain language by the TestGuru team and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. It is published so that you can see our intentions before you pay us, not because it is a finished legal instrument. It will be replaced by a reviewed version, and we will date the change. If anything here is unclear or looks wrong, email support@testguru.co and ask — we would rather explain it than have you guess.

The policy

Within seven days of paying, you can have all of it back.

After seven days we do not refund the pass, because the product is a one-time purchase with immediate access and no ongoing charge. If something has gone genuinely wrong — you were charged twice, the service was unusable, an invoice is incorrect — write to us anyway. Those are handled below and are not refusals.

How to ask

Email support@testguru.co from the address on your account, with the invoice number from your receipt if you have it to hand. That is the whole process.

We start the refund within two working days. Your bank or card issuer then takes its own time — usually five to seven working days. It goes back to the same account and method you paid from; we cannot redirect it elsewhere.

The awkward cases

Your payment failed but money left your account. This is usually the gateway holding an authorisation that has not settled, and it normally reverses itself within five to seven working days. Email us with the date, amount and the last four digits of the card or the UPI reference, and we will chase it with the gateway rather than leave you to.

You were charged twice. Tell us and we refund the duplicate in full, immediately, whatever the date. The seven-day window does not apply to a duplicate charge — that is our error, not a change of mind.

Your invoice is wrong. We reissue it. If you need a GSTIN on the invoice, add it to your account before paying; we cannot add a GSTIN to an invoice that has already been issued, which is a tax rule rather than a preference of ours.

You bought it twice on two accounts. Tell us which one you want to keep and we refund the other in full.

We ended your access. If we suspend an account for a breach of the terms, we refund the unused portion — unless the breach was a deliberate attempt to copy or resell our questions.

What you can check before paying

The diagnostic test is free and needs no card, and it returns the same full report the paid papers do. We would rather you used it than bought the pass and asked for it back.

Take the free diagnostic instead No card. Decide afterwards.

Your statutory rights

Nothing here reduces your rights as a consumer under Indian law.
