Is there still time to register?
As of 9 October 2026, yes, until 13 October 2026 at 5:00 pm. Before you register, check two things on the eligibility page:
- Your 12-month internship must be completed on or before 31 January 2027.
- You need at least 55% aggregate in MBBS or BDS, or 50% if you are SC or ST.
The application fee is ₹4,000 for General, OBC-NCL, Foreign National, OCI and sponsored candidates, and ₹3,200 for SC, ST and EWS. PwBD candidates pay nothing.
When are the INI-CET sessions held?
INI-CET is held twice a year, for a January session and a July session. AIIMS publishes a separate prospectus for each.
| Session | Exam date | Status |
|---|---|---|
| January 2027 | 1 November 2026 | Official |
| July 2027 | Not announced | Awaiting prospectus |
We will not guess the July 2027 dates. When AIIMS publishes them, this page will be updated.
What should you do between now and 1 November?
With about three weeks to go, this is revision and test practice, not new learning:
- Register first if you have not, before 13 October at 5:00 pm.
- Check your registration status in the 17 to 19 October correction window, and fix anything wrong.
- Download your admit card on 26 October and check the centre and reporting time.
- Sit full tests in the real format: 200 questions, four locked parts of 45 minutes, +1/−1/3 marking. See the exam pattern.
- Review every test the same day. The preparation strategy has a final-weeks plan.
