About TestGuru

We build one thing: mock tests that adapt to the student taking them, and reports that say why an answer was wrong rather than just that it was.

What we are

An adaptive mock-test platform for JEE Main, built on one idea: a test should be shaped by the person taking it, and a wrong answer should say which idea is broken.

Most platforms hand the same fixed paper to everyone and return a score. That is cheap to build and it tells a student almost nothing they did not already know. Ours chooses what to ask based on what you have already shown, diagnoses the cause behind each error, and builds your next practice set out of your own mistakes.

Everything else follows from that. The papers are pattern-accurate, because a diagnosis drawn from an unrealistic paper is a diagnosis of nothing. The timing is enforced on our server, because a score you cannot trust is worse than no score. Material you got wrong reappears later, unannounced, because that is the only way to find out whether a fix held.

What exists today

The bank behind all of this is still small and grows every week. Writing a question that diagnoses rather than merely marks is slow: each wrong option has to correspond to a real way of thinking, with a plausible route to it. That is the constraint on how fast we can grow, and we would rather say so than imply a library we do not have.

What we do not have

No customers to quote. No testimonials, no “trusted by N students”, no star ratings, no institutional logos, no “as featured in”. We launched recently.

No outcome data. No rank improvements, no score-gain percentages, no success stories. Nobody who has used us has sat the exam yet. When that changes we will publish what we find, with the sample size and the method attached.

No affiliation with the NTA. We do not know the paper, we cannot predict it, and anyone who tells you they can is not being straight with you.

A page like this usually carries social proof, and its absence reads as weakness. The alternative is inventing it, on a site read mostly by sixteen-year-olds and the parents paying for them. We would rather be smaller and verifiably true.

How we make money

One product, one price: ₹1,499, paid once, for 12 months of access. Nothing renews. There is no advertising on this site or in the app, and no third-party tracking scripts anywhere — most of our users are under 18 and their browsing is not ours to sell.

Details are on the pricing page.

What is next

More questions every week, which is the real constraint on everything else. Then NEET and UGC NET, once JEE Main is covered properly.

Getting in touch

A person reads what arrives at support@testguru.co and a person answers. If a diagnosis is wrong, if an answer key is wrong, or if a claim on this site is one we cannot support, we want to hear about it — that last one especially.

More ways to reach us are on the contact page.

Common questions

Are you affiliated with the NTA?
No. TestGuru is an independent product with no affiliation to, endorsement from or connection with the National Testing Agency. We model our papers on the published JEE Main pattern, we have no access to the actual paper, and we have no advance information about it. ‘JEE Main’ is used on this site only to describe the examination our papers are modelled on.
Do you have students who have improved their ranks?
We do not know, and we are not going to guess. We launched recently and no cohort has sat the exam since. When we have outcome data we will publish it with the method and the sample size attached, including the parts that do not flatter us.
Which exams do you cover?
JEE Main today. NEET and UGC NET are planned. We would rather have one exam covered properly than three covered thinly.
